After undergoing a plasma fibroblast treatment, it’s crucial to follow a proper aftercare regimen to ensure the best results. Here are some must-have products/accessories to support your skin’s healing process.

**4 WEEKS BEFORE Treatment**: 

Use SPF 50 or higher to prep your skin for 2 to 4 weeks before your treatment, especially if you have naturally darker skin.

SPF Sunscreen
Description: Protect your new skin from harmful UV rays with a high-SPF sunscreen.

**3 WEEKS BEFORE Treatment**: 

If you have Fitzpatrick skin type 3 or higher, especially for darker skin tones, pre-treat your skin with a tyrosinase inhibitor serum and start drinking Zink at least 2 to 3 weeks before the Plasma Fibroblast treatment to avoid pigmentation issues. Continue using this after your treatment, but only start using the serum again once all scabs has shed.

Pigmentation
Description: If you are prone to pigment issues. The best is to start using this 2-3 week prior to treatment.

**3 DAYS Before Treatment**:

Cold sores 
NB! If you are prone to cold sores!!! Valtrex must be taken 3 days prior to the treatment and for 4 days afterward “for lips, and all areas near lip area, and if you have a current outbreak of the Herpes Simplex Virus (oral cold sores) you have to extend your booking until the area to work on is clear. at your nearest Chemist.

**DAY of Treatment**:

Pain Reliever & Immune support
We highly recommend taking a non-inflammatory tablet for pain or discomfort following plasma fibroblast treatment, such as paracetamol or codeine. 

This allows the skin to heal on its own without anti-inflammatory medication, promoting optimal collagen production. Acetaminophen (also known as paracetamol) or Tylenol is a non-inflammatory medication. 

It is commonly used to relieve pain and reduce fever but does not possess anti-inflammatory properties. This makes it a suitable option for individuals who need pain relief but do not require the anti-inflammatory effects of medications like ibuprofen or aspirin.

Description: This pain reliever helps soothe discomfort and reduce fever after your treatment.
Swelling & Itching
Description: An effective antihistamine to help manage swelling and itching post-treatment.

**FIRST 48 HOURS after treatment**:

Hydration and Diet
Take high doses of Vitamin C supplements orally and drink plenty of water to boost your immune system and aid in healing.

Boost Your Immune System and Aid in Healing
Description: Vitamin C tablets support your immune system and aid in the healing process.

**48 HOURS after treatment**: 

Immune System, Bioactive Colloidal Silver
Description: Colloidal silver has natural antibacterial properties that help support your immune system.
